Boardwalk Tram - get real OC flavor!The very best way to catch the real flavor of Ocean City Maryland is to take a ride on the Boardwalk Tram (a train with rubber wheels). All day long and into the night the trams roll back and forth along the “boards”, a half hour long ride, the 3-mile stretch from the inlet to 27th Street allowing you to Ocean City MD Beachtake in the sights and sounds of our fine beach town – seeing what makes Ocean City the fun place to return, year after year. During your trip you will see so much…from the families trudging across the sand, returning from a long day playing in the surf, to the famed Kite Loft kites flying overhead to folks Phillips Beach Plaza Ocean City MDdining outside the Phillips Beach Plaza boardwalk restaurant listening to live music, shoppers strolling along or people just sitting enjoying the fine sea air. From the Boardwalk Tram you may exit at will…just wave to the attendant – to experience something interesting you have just seen. And, you may board the same way to enjoy a comfortable ride to an intended destination. The flavors and fun of Ocean City are nearly endless; see ‘em from the Boardwalk Tram.

my-pictures0023.jpg Trams begin operation at 10 a.m. and end at midnight seven days a week during the summer season. Trams also operate during both Springfest and Sunfest weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend-only service is offered beginning Easter weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through May 20. Beginning May 26, the trams are on the summer schedule of 10 a.m. to midnight 7 days per week. Weekend-only service also is offered during the month of October. This service is offered from September 29, to October 14.
Tram fare is $2.75 per person Monday through Thursday and $3.00 per person Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for one-way passage only. Discount fares are available; inquire at either tram station.
