MOTOR SCOOTERS – Sleek touring at the beach!
Recently motor scooters have become a highly preferable mode of transportation for island touring while visiting Ocean City Maryland and have virtually replaced the moped (motorized bicycle) of yesteryear. Traveling by scooter allows easy access to the multitude of great entertainment sites and eateries 
that line Coastal Highway. It’s a fun and “cool” way to go – to “get around”, eliminating most of the hassles of seeking a parking spot during the busiest season. On island, there are several places to rent one of these sleek looking vehicles by the hour or the day. And, if you are lucky enough to already own a scooter several shops also offer repair services. As for cost of fuel…not 
much, an especially welcome advantage in this day of rising gasoline prices. Of course, driving a motor scooter at the beach requires the same set of regulations 
as for any other motorized vehicle with a few exceptions. These may be found on this website. And, be sure to ask when renting about any laws specific to Ocean City. Your vacation experience is important – help make it a good one! Always drive safely!
